University Physics with Modern Physics
University Physics with Modern Physics covers fundamental and complex concepts in physics and has numerous solved examples as well as problem-sets to help students build their problem-solving skills.
Summary Of The Book
University Physics With Modern Physics is a book that covers the best and latest research ideas, problem-solving methods, engaging illustrations and well explained concepts in a consistent and structured framework. It consists of a huge range of examples as well as questions. The book focuses on making readers understand the topic in depth and at the same time help them develop their problem-solving skills. In fact, the book has incorporated a proven and commonly used homework and tutorial system, known as the ISEE (Identify, Set Up, Execute, Evaluate). University Physics With Modern Physics does a great job of covering both quantitative as well as qualitative aspects of the entire subject matter. Problem sets in the book have been developed and improved over the last fifty years, since the book was first released. The authors have very skillfully included many real-life situations in the text to give readers an understanding of the application of key concepts. There are explanatory annotations in the book that coach students on how to solve specific types of questions. These are called Problem-Solving Strategy Boxes. An excellent inclusion has been of the Caution Paragraphs, that explain to readers the common misconceptions that exist. Some of the chapters are Work and Kinetic Energy, Gravitation, Gauss's Law, Alternating Current, Diffraction, Atomic Structure, and Nuclear Physics.
The language of the book is concise and clear. The diagrams and other illustrations use simple graphic methodology for presentation. Figures are drawn in colour to focus on key aspects. Readers say that all the explanations and the examples in the book are easy to follow and the some of the best photos of physical phenomenons are included in University Physics with Modern Physics. This book can lay a strong foundation in Physics for it’s users.
